Touchdown, Obama!

The good news I stimulated the economy last week: Bought Madden 09 for the Wii. Bad news is I haven’t had a chance to play yet. More bad news, I won’t get to see any Barrack Obama billboards adorn my stadium.

Where Did My Music Go?

I visited Amazon.com the other day to buy some music CDs, but was rather alarmed to discover that a lot of the music I love is now starting to go “out of print.” That is to say, no longer available on CD.

It appears that we’ve finally hit the tipping point where online music is starting to kill the CD industry.

But I guess it’s also because a lot of the music I listen to is no longer popular — or even appreciated. You see, I’m one of those old progressive rock fans. Musically, I’m stuck in the 1970s – and a lot of the stuff I get into is pretty sublime (and to most people, quite strange).
