  1. I thing meeting sucks cause thats when the boss talks a lilttle bit to much say the sae ting about (100)one hundred times

  2. I think Meetings Suck ’cause Everyone Falls asleep while the boss is talking and by the time I get out of the Meeting Room, My Coffee Has Got Cold.

  3. “I echo your thoughts.” Reply all: “Me, too.” So much wisdom in such an itty-bitty-space. I’ll send more than a few friends to your site!

  4. HaHaHa - if this weren’t true it would even be more hilarious. Thanks for saying it so well - and with humor. You are likely aware of research that shows why most meetings work against the human brain. Let me take that back - they benefit the brain of the one who’s sharing, but none who sit passive. Let than 5% retention when we merely listen to a person lecture or talk. Compare that to 90% retention when we actively engage or teach others at same time we learn. You said it best with humor!

My question is - WHY ARE THEY STILL SO PREVALENT? The opposite of a passive meeting (where brains atrophy) is an inspired invention that opens new pathways forward. No wonder we hate meetings.

  5. I gotta believe you were daydreaming and doodling in a staff meeting when you came up with this. Nice cartoon of ya Tom
