The Mouse Wants You in the Picture

With a steady drumbeat of store closings and factory bankruptcies, and with daily reports of layoff numbers that read like pinball scores, no one could be blamed for needing a little extra cheer this holiday season. Say, getting the keys to a kingdom full of pirates, flying elephants and a strange world where some dogs wear collars and some wear hats and pants.

Walt Disney Resorts embarked last week on a viral marketing campaign called “What Will You Celebrate?” that mails a link to the purported Web site of a supposed Florida news station. When you click though, the lead video clip on that site is a news story about how Disney’s Florida park has been given over for one day to celebrating that special person—you. (Or in this case, me.) more

Puma and Women’s Soccer Ink Deal
