No Pulp, Please
My wife went to the grocery store yesterday and came home complaining that it took her an extra five minutes to go through all the varieties of Tropicana orange juice to find the one we usually buy – which is the classic one without pulp.
You see, they just changed the design of the carton, and it’s now even harder to tell the varieties apart. Or maybe you just have to get used to it …
I think the new carton design has kind of a “pharmaceutical” look to it. Kind of like the labeling they use for Glaceau VitaminWater – looks like its made by a drug company. Maybe it’s just the sideways lettering that makes it seem that way.
What do you think of the new package design?

Pepsico is going nuts with the rebranding. You’ve got to stop and think before you pick up a bottle of Pepsi. And if you were a Diet Pepsi Max drinker like me, you’re suddenly drinking Pepsi Max instead.
Then there’s Gatorade. You can’t even tell it’s Gatorade anymore!
What’s next? Is the Quaker Oats guy going to look more like John Oates?

I love Tropicana juice (we’re a no pulp household too). But I HATE their rebranding…it looks completely generic to me.
As for Pepsi, I haven’t noticed. I’m a Diet Coke gal.
