Merchants Searching for Silver Lining at NRF
Quick disclosure: I did not attend the National Retail Federation’s Biog Show today, but was at its Happy Hour for the press and VIPs tonight. And as poor as the economy has hit, well, just about everyone, it seemed people at the party said they were finding some silver linings at the show.
It’s not the same picture co-worker Jim Tierney painted this morning with this piece, Live from NRF: Retail’s Poster Boy: Grumpy. So my guess is that some retailers are putting on a great game face. more
