Nike May Cut Marketing Budgets

In a sign of the times, Nike may cut its marketing budget. It has already said it will layoff 1,400, 4% of its workforce. Nike spends about $140 million on advertising and another $250 million on sports sponsorships yearly. Time to cut the mass marketing and focus on profitable niches, if you ask me.

I was combing the wires the other day and I came upon this interesting video showing a demonstration of Sealed Air’s (actually, the Japan division of the company) new “pack in instance” protective foam packaging material.
