The End Of The Innocence Part II

Clemens is still trying to clear his name amid mounting evidence. No matter the outcome for Clemens, the damage has been done. Then it becomes who’s the next victim of the “Era”? After the Clemens affair dominated headlines last year, all eyes turned to the next big star without a steroid asterisk. At the time, that was A-Rod.


Now, no matter what happens in the ensuing weeks and months, the damage has been done to A-Rod, who was seen as the heir apparent to Bonds as the all-time home run king. And for those who think A-Rod is different from Bonds because he “admitted” his wrongdoing – albeit after Sports Illustrated broke the story supported by four sources – think again. A cheater is a cheater.
