Listen Up: MCM Radio Launches Today
ACMA executive director Hamilton Davison will be our guest at 1 p.m. today on the first-ever episode of MCM Radio, Multichannel Merchant’s new Internet radio show, streaming live to your PC or Mac on BlogTalkRadio.com (and soon at MultichannelMerchant.com).
So why is Multichannel Merchant launching an Internet radio channel? We feel it will help us bring Multichannel Merchant’s coverage of today’s news stories to a whole new level. Not only that, we’ll bring in multichannel retail experts who will offer their tips and advice on everything from streamlining your costs to building a better Web site to keeping your operations under control.
And once we get a few kinks worked out, we’ll open up the switchboard for your questions and maybe even try a Town Hall style meeting.
We’ll be coming to you at least once a week – Mondays at 1 p.m. Eastern – sometimes twice or three times depending on what’s going on. And the beauty is the episodes for the most part will last 15 minutes or less. So if you’re listening live we won’t take up your entire lunch hour. And if you’re downloading the podcast for future use, we won’t fill up your MP3 player.
I will co-host today with Jim Tierney, another senior writer at Multichannel Merchant. Editor-in-chief Melissa Dowling will also be serving as a show host.
We’re excited, and we’re hoping you are, too.
