Candle Warmers Heats Up Retail Distribution
Candle Warmers Etc., a cataloger/manufacturer of patented candle warming appliances, related giftware appliances and Jamie Clair Candles, is expanding its product distribution through new mass retailers starting next month.
Included among those new retail chains are Bed Bath & Beyond, CVS.com, Dillard’s, J.C. Penney, Kmart, Kohl’s, Target.com, and Walgreens.
So what prompted the company’s expanded retail distribution? Customer demand, according to company spokesperson Melissa Clyne. “The expanded distribution has been part of the company’s plan since early 2008 when the Beesley brothers Brian, Brad and Spencer, together with (marketing director) Chris Barnes joined founder and CEO Bart Kennington to take Candle Warmers’ innovative line of market-leading candle warming appliances and related giftware into national distribution, in addition to improving operating and manufacturing efficiencies, and to expand the company’s product development efforts,” she explains.
Clyne says the redesigned Website (candlewarmers.com) launched March 23. Founded in 2001, Candle Warmers Etc. mails a 26-page print catalog twice a year. She says the company’s increased retail distribution should be underway at Target.com by mid-April.
Candle Warmers Etc. was recently ranked by Inc. 500 as the 57th fastest growing consumer products company in the United States.
