HULU Not Jumping Through Hoops

While HULU keeps gaining viewers, it has not attracted advertisers. That’s a business model that won’t work, at least long term.

The site gained more unique viewers in February than any other online video site, but advertisers still seem skeptical. Time will tell if the site can both fend off competitors and convince advertisers that being on the site is measurably effective.

  1. Here’s something I found peculiar when I was on Hulu catching up on “Friday Night Lights” this week. Two of the episodes the show were sponsored by Grey Goose. Now I know the show is not geared towards high schoolers, and it accurately portrays teenagers drinking, but was that the appropriate sponsor for Friday Night Lights?

  2. Hey Tim,

As I tell my friends, “that’s the beautiful thing about common sense. It’s not too common!”
