Union Head Says Postal Challenges Won’t Disappear
It has certainly been a challenging year for the U.S. Postal Service. And those challenges won’t disappear in 2010.
Fredric V. Rolando, president of the National Association of Letter Carriers, says there is no way to sugarcoat the current predicament the U.S. Postal Service faces.
“We will have our work cut out for us in the years ahead to restore the Postal Service and protect our long-term job security,” Rolando says in the Nov. 20 NALC Bulletin. “We will have to fight for legislative reforms and make the right decisions at the bargaining table.”

They need to move to three day a week delivery asap—-they missed their opportunity to run secure email over 20 years ago—-they are now buggy whips—with xenophobia—and they have no real leadership! They really do need some luck—but it is NOT coming.
